What I’m working on Now

This page is the most up to date list of what I’m working on, thinking about and doing right now.

There’s a lot going on in the Bitcoin and Altcoin mining space. I’m fortunate to live in a part of the country that has inexpensive electric power, so even though it gets hot in the summer it’s still a good place to mine for crypto-currencies.

I like working with new technologies – there’s less competition 🙂

Finishing up a consulting project on a 400 server Bitcoin mining facility. The first phase is going to go operational soon.

Moving my 5 and 6 GPU rig Zcash miners running Claymore’s miner from Windows 10 to Linux. Windows is tedious to manage. I really like Linux better.

Building more of these:

Making sure my Dash masternodes are sized right and secure for the next update.

Tweaking my cloud based system monitoring server (running Zabbix) to make sure the dependencies are set up properly. If a 48 port network switch goes offline, I only need to be notified about that, not about all the devices that are connected to it that are not able to be monitored as well.

Antminer S9 monitoring

GPU mining for Ethereum and Zcash

Figuring out what topics would go best in a book on how to set up and maintain a Bitcoin/Altcoin mining facility. I know what I know, but I don’t know what other people want to know.
